Teaka Mote: Thief, Soldier, Spy

The main character of The Soul Thief is Teaka Mote. She’s a former soldier and spy and currently working as a thief in the capital city of Tolount. Even though I played Indira as a character in World of Warcraft and Dungeons and Dragons, I made Teaka the main character of the novel. It was a conscious decision, (obviously) but at the time I wouldn’t have been able to tell you exactly why — it just felt right. I think I know why I did it now. Character Focus: Indira Burningwood

My novel The Soul Thief will be out soon and so I wanted to give a glimpse into one of the main characters — Indira Burningwood. She’s the healer in my thief/healer combo. Indira has a long history in my life. She first came to life as my paladin in World of Warcraft in 2005. I quested with her to the original level 60 cap and then quit the game cold turkey. The Soul Thief: A First Look

My novel, The Soul Thief will be coming out in a few weeks. It’s a fantasy novel, and in my opinion the best fantasy novels begin with a map and end with a glossary The action takes place on the continent of Sarana. It was almost totally unified at one point under the Rhoshundari Empire. But several hundred years ago, the Empire was broken.
